Police say two people have died following a crash in Oamaru.
A car rolled on Ardgowan Rd in the North Otago town about 6.30pm, a police spokesperson said.
The road was closed between Redcastle and Homestead Rds and the serious crash unit was alerted, she said.
Two helicopters were sent to the scene of the crash.
Fire and Emergency and St John ambulance also attended the incident.
