Primary language of Switzerland? : Switzerland – صحيفة الصوت

Hi! Googling my question results in a split between a few languages, the largest percentage being German. Switzerland doesn’t seem like other countries where one language is primarily spoken everywhere (I could easily be mistaken about this). Are there certain regions where certain languages are spoken? Is it that everyone knows on language in Switzerland, but distinct regions have supplementary languages mixed in as well? Thank you in advance for the replies 🙂
