More than 1300 homes in Paraparaumu are without power after a power cut since 5pm.
Power is back on in Paraparaumu, after an earlier fault cut the power to more than 1300 homes.
Electra, the lines company for Kāpiti and Horowhenua, said in a Facebook post the fault was traced to an “underground 11,000 volt cable” which has now been “removed from service”.
All customers were back on at 6.35pm.
The areas affected included The Drive, Mazengarb Rd, Guilford Drive, Realm Dr, Langdale Ave and surrounding streets.
