Can anyone recommend the best insurer for maternity with private room. I’ve applied through my current insurer but been declined with no explanation, my only existing health issues are asthma and mental health which I haven’t needed treatment for over 3 years for. Will call them tomorrow to try find out why they’ve declined. But would like recommendations from experience of best insurer for maternity cover. My insurer have a 12 month exclusion on maternity if any don’t have exclusions that would be preferred. We’d like to start a family as soon as possible the 12 month exclusion is very frustrating but nothing we can do about it however the decline of insurance has taken 2 months or come back which is annoying as we’d be at 10 months now had they accepted or even declined right away so I could seek an alternative.
