A pedestrian has suffered life-threatening injuries after being hit by a car in Lower Hutt.
Four people have been arrested following a spate of shooting across Auckland this weekend.
There were two reported firearms incidents in Avondale, one in Ōtara, and one in Gulf Harbour, Whangaparāoa, which were all unrelated.
Police said four people had been arrested in relation to the Gulf Harbour incident.
