Police hold serious concerns for a missing 43-year-old woman who disappeared from her home in Sydney’s north-west.
Shereen Kumar was last seen leaving her home at Taylor Road in Dural at 9pm on Wednesday wearing white pyjamas and a purple dressing gown.
Her family and friends are growing more concerned about the mother, as her disappearance is considered out of character.
Her partner reported her missing to police, which prompted officers to launch a search.
NSW Police detective sergeant Michelle Mathieson said the family “is very concerned”.
“She is a mum, she is a daughter and she is a very much-loved friend and family member,” Mathieson said.
“We would love dearly to find her and to be able to reunite her with her family.”
Police searching for the mother are particularly concerned about the disappearance due to the wet and cold weather.
