Police are at the scene of a crash which has closed State Highway 1 between Kaikōura and Blenheim.
A bus and a car have collided on State Highway 1 between Blenheim and Kaikōura.
A police spokesperson said the crash happened near Clarence about 1pm on Friday.
There were injuries but it was too early to say how many people injured or how serious their injuries were, the spokesperson said. All occupants were safely out of the vehicles.
However, both lanes of the highway were blocked, the spokesperson said.
