On June 15, the national charity Indspire hosted its first A Feast in the Forest event to benefit First Nation, Inuit and Métis students across Canada. Nearly 600 guests enjoyed Indigenous food and culture in the forest setting of the Evergreen Brick Works. Highlights of the event, which raised more than $1 million, included a menu by Chef David Wolfman and performances by Indigenous artists Cris Derksen, Jeremy Dutcher and Buffy Sainte-Marie.
