Hey, all. Tomorrow is the 1st of August (shocking news, I’m sure), and it will incidentally be my first time in Switzerland for this celebration (ditto my girlfriend). We’re situated in Montreux, and don’t have too much money, but could adapt depending on the situation.
I was wondering if anyone knows of any places or events in the region that are worth attending, as most suggestions seem to point to Basel / Zug / Lugano, all of which are quite a way ($) away.
Any advice is welcome, and Hopp Schwiiz!
(On a completely unrelated note, to avoid making a separate post – does anyone know if you have to pay taxes on your military salary (école de recrue)?)
