So I recently moved and therefore switched to a new gym. They didn’t offer trial trainings, but they were real close and from the outside everything looked fine. I even inspected the machines nearest to the entrance which seemingly annoyed the receptionist. After a while my gf started to get embarassed so I said frick it and made a contract for 1 year.
Unfortunately when I started training I noticed more and more gross things. Nobody there cleaned their gear after using it, the changing rooms were a mess (don’t even get me started about the bathrooms) and I even found a chewing gum stuck on one of the machines. Most of the machines were rusty and some didn’t even work properly.
I’ve been to many different gyms but this is by far the lowest standard I’ve ever seen in Switzerland. Is it possibly to somehow back out of the contract? I feel like I didn’t get what I paid for.
